TBH Tree Care was recently instructed to carry out a crown reduction and thinning of a mature Norway maple at a residential property in Snettisham, Norfolk. The primary goal was to increase natural light to the garden, patio, and interior of the home, while preserving the health and appearance of the tree.
Our Approach
We carefully reduced the height and spread of the maple, selectively thinning out the crown to improve light penetration without compromising the tree’s natural form. All cuts were made back to established growth points, ensuring the tree could recover cleanly and maintain a healthy structure.
The work was carried out with minimal disruption, and all brash was chipped and removed off-site as part of our standard waste management approach.
